In my little time outside of work and spending quality time with my family, here is what I'm doing at the moment.

I really like the C programming language, but on a day-to-day basis I'm using Golang. I still really like to work with C for some personal projects, but it has its own quirks and rough edges. But I think most of these things can be solved by having a better compiler and a good standard library, more similar to the one of Golang.

Because of this I'm working on writing a new compiler (only the fronend and using something that already exists as backend) that would help me (and potentially others) enjoy more writing C code and making it much more accessible and easy to use.

At the moment this is still a work-in-progress, but as soon as I have a concept working I'm going to release it here.

I always try to read as much as possible. The book I'm reading at the moment is Size: How It Explains the World
